THE RADIANTS - IT AIN'T NO BIG THING

Formed in a Chicago church in 1960, Chicago's Radiants went into secular music as they found it difficult to get noticed while singing gospel.

The big harmony sound of the group is certainly rooted in the church, and is heard in full beautiful effect on this track, which was released as the followup to their big '64 hit "Voice Your Choice". This song has a similar lilting groove, may not be quite as clever as "Voice" but has excellent lyrics by Gerald Sims nonetheless.
